We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, enroll in a class, or contact us for support. This includes:

Account information: name, email address, phone number, password
Child profiles: name, date of birth, gender, interests (parent-managed only)
Payment information: processed securely via Razorpay — we do not store card details
Location data: city and area for matching local coaches
Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, maintain, and improve our services
To match children with suitable coaches based on interests and location
To process payments and send receipts
To send notifications about classes, assessments, and platform updates
To ensure safety and prevent fraud
To generate anonymized analytics about platform usage

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

We take children's privacy extremely seriously. Child profiles are created and managed exclusively by parents/guardians. We never collect personal data directly from children under 13. All data related to minors is:

Stored with encryption at rest and in transit
Never sold or shared with third parties for advertising
Only accessible to the parent/guardian and enrolled coach
Deletable on request at any time
Media (photos/videos) only uploaded with documented parental consent

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Coaches you enroll with — limited profile info needed for teaching
Payment processors (Razorpay) — for secure transaction processing
Cloud services (Vercel, Supabase) — for hosting and database
Law enforcement — only when legally required

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@coachconnect.in.
